Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) yarn comes from Great Britain, where this sheep breed is the classic breeding sheep used to improve the quality of existing flocks. The yarn is considered particularly high-quality and warm. The sheep get their name from the color of their head, where the dark skin shines through the light hair, giving it a bluish appearance.
