No more fear of dyeing blue:
In 3 hours we’ll learn both the detailed theory of indigo dyeing as well as the practical execution of a chemical vat that can easily be done at home without much effort.
We’ll set up the vat from scratch together, do a variety of individual dyeings, and also create indigo overdyes to achieve green and purple tones.
At the end, each participant can take home the self-dyed wool (if desired).
Materials to bring: rubber gloves, kitchen apron, writing materials.
Material costs only apply to the wool skeins that are taken home. They will be settled directly with the course instructor during the course.
