Contrary to many misconceptions, plant dyeing is neither difficult nor dangerous \u2013 rather, it is a wonderful pleasure that brings us closer to the nature we live in.<\/p>\n
In three hours, we will learn the complete process of dyeing with plant & natural dyes: from mordanting to the actual dyeing and further developing colors.<\/p>\n
In addition to detailed theory, two dye baths will be prepared, in which we will dye yarn together. At the end, each participant can (if desired) take home 1-2 skeins of self-dyed yarn.<\/p>\n
Materials to bring: rubber gloves, kitchen apron, writing utensils.<\/p>\n
If you wish to take dye bath liquid with you, please bring heat-resistant (!) bottles or canisters.<\/p>\n
